Part 107 Certified Day or night
Glide Aerials is proud to be one of the chosen companies in the U.S. that is FAA Compliant with the Section Part 107 Waiver. We have met all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements to commercially operate an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), or “drone” at any time of Day or Night.
What this Part 107 Waiver means for Glide Aerials
In North America all commercial drone use requires a Part 107 Waiver and registered equipment. Glide has gone through this process with the FAA to obtain this waiver. We are fully insured so our pilots and cinematographers are able to give your production the best possible protection and permitting abilities. Glide Aerials is ready to serve you worldwide and is familiar with drone regulations governing many different areas. We have operated in over 30 countries with zero incidents, safety being our number one concern for all shoots.
NOTE: Certain more complex productions might require special permitting which can take up to 90 days to process, e.g. sporting events, downtown areas, areas close to airports or national parks.
We are very proud to be one of the chosen companies in the U.S. that is FAA Compliant with the Section Part 107.29 Waiver. This allows us to have permission to fly in any Uncontrolled Class G Airspace at night and in Controlled Airspaces with extra authorizations with the FAA.
